Harley of Salop   late 18th century

A very fine early pretty arched painted dial moon phase clock in a high quality oak and mahogany case with reeded columns and fretwork. Made by Samuel Harley of Salop (Shrewsbury) who is recorded working from 1766 - 1799. Height: 7ft 3in. This clock is currently on display in our US showroom in Princeton.

A very rare 8 day arched blue painted dial clock in a fine solid and very beautiful oak and mahogany case of excellent style and colour. Made by John Mason of Kington, Hereford (recorded working in 1794). Height: 7ft 5in.
